11 Signs You've Found The Person Of Your Dreams
Barbara Zayas

Human beings have an innate desire to belong and create relationships. In a sense, love is what makes us human and motivates us to live. I’ve never been a person who speaks freely about her feelings, but when I met my best friend, I was able to express my emotions of sadness, happiness and fear. This girl knows me like I don’t even know myself. She reminds me of who I am and who I truly want to be in life. Here’s a list of ten things that reveal why your best friend could actually be your soul mate:

1. You take small pauses once in a while to realize how happy you are by their side.

2. You vacation together.

3. You give up romantic dates to spend time with them instead.

4. You gym together.

5. You get matching piercings.

6. You get invited to a party, meaning you BOTH got invited to a party.

7. You grocery shop together.

8. You come home excited as can be to tell her all the exciting things that happened in your day.

9. You get sick together, which means you suffer together.

10. You nap together.

11. You rely deeply on each other. (So much that you rely on the other person's alarm to wake up from naps.)

Wifey, you’ve set the standards for my future husband too high girl. If I end up single with ten cats, let the world know it’s your fault.

We Heart It

Over the past decade, television has undergone a very crucial transition: the incorporation of female lead characters. Since it's a known fact that girls actually do run the world (Beyonce said so herself), it's time for the leading ladies of the small screen to get some credit. Without these characters, women would still be sitting in the background of our favorite shows. These women are not only trailblazers for female empowerment, but role models for women worldwide. With that, here are 15 of the smartest, sassiest ladies gracing our screens that remind us that women do, indeed, rule:
