The Ballinger family consists of parents Chris and Jessica Ballinger and their kids Bailey (10), Jacob (4), Parker (4), and their newest baby, Duncan, and together they have a YouTube channel documenting their life! Jessica homeschools the kids while Chris manages their YouTube channel.

First off, you probably know the Ballinger name already:

Colleen Ballinger, who portrays wacky celebrity wannabe MirandaSings, is the sister of Chris Ballinger. Together they co-wrote and produced "Haters Back Off!" which lasted for two seasons before Netflix pulled the plug. Colleen regularly featured Chris and his family on her vlog series on YouTube, and in 2014, they decided to create their own channel! Here are some of my favorite aspects of this family!

1. Jessica and Chris are husband and wife GOALS.

Jessica and Chris first started dating in high school and have been inseparable ever since. They are the kind of couple that you look at and just know they were made for each other. Jessica and Chris are super-parents who are raising some great, wholesome kids but also acknowledge that not everything is perfect and life can be tough while raising four kids. Throughout all of this, they always manage to find time to be with each other.

2. The story of how the Ballinger Family channel started warms my heart every time.

Seven years ago, Chris was working with a magic company and was a magician, doing videos and working parties. One day in 2014, Chris got laid off of work and decided to take a leap of faith by making YouTube videos with his family as a full-time job. 4 years later and their channel is the best it can ever be!

3. Bailey is the kindest 10-year-old you will ever see.

Bailey has many passions that fuel her to be the amazing young lady she is! She loves being a big sister to her brothers (her parents even let her be in the delivery room when her brother Duncan was born!), reading books, learning new things, singing, and with one of her favorite book series being Harry Potter, she's a Hufflepuff and proud!

4. Jacob and Duncan, 8 years apart, are MAGICAL together.

When Duncan was born last May, everyone realized something beautiful: Jacob and Duncan look SO alike. Practically twins born 8 years apart! Of course, many brothers look like each other, but these brothers are just too pure to not be shown together.

5. Jessica and Chris are breaking gender stereotypes.

The Ballingers are close friends of former "Dance Moms" star JoJo Siwa, who now has a line of her signature bows at "Claire's", the bows that the kids wear all the time. They allow their son Parker to wear these all the time with no judgement or gender stereotyping, as well as anything pink that he wants to wear, it being a color he loves. They never talk about how it's a "girl" accessory or how they're "accepting" of him wearing it, they just let him and the other kids wear whatever looks appealing to the kids without putting a gender on any of their clothing, hobbies or accessories.

6. They regularly collab and meet up with other amazing YouTube families that will warm your heart when they're reunited.

Whether it's Disneyland with The Weiss Life, the moms of Ballinger Family and JHouse Vlogs comparing baby bumps, or exploring Canada with Eh Bee Family, every vlog they have with another YouTube family warms my heart. Seeing the reactions on all the kids' faces when they're reunited is priceless, and seeing them all leave each other breaks my heart.

If you haven't yet already checked out this lovely family, what are you waiting for?! They put out new videos every week! Go watch them!

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
