"Beauty and the Beast" has been one of my favorite Disney movies since I was a little kid. And I’ve been so excited about it coming to life from the time when I heard that Disney was going to make a live action adaption of "Beauty and the Beast." Also, as soon as I saw the first official trailer, I got more excited about the movie coming out and to see it in theaters. So below I've included a little bit on why the trailer sparked my interest even more!

First, I love how it looked almost exactly like the original movie. What I mean by that is the Beast’s castle looked precisely like the original version, seen in the original film. Since I’m a big bookworm like Belle, I was amazed on what the library looked like in the Beast’s castle. To be honest, I would love to go to that library if I was in the movie. Like Belle would say, “I have never seen so many books in my entire life.” Gaston’s tavern looked a little bigger than the original version, but I liked it anyway. The ballroom was so elegant, just like the original movie too.

Speaking of that, I would like to talk about the characters and the cast next. The character that I want to talk about first is Emma Watson as Belle, my favorite Disney Princess of all time. Belle has been a role model of mine since my childhood. When I found out that Emma Watson was going to be Belle in "Beauty and the Beast", I got really excited and knew she was perfect for the part. Well, I mean, she was Hermione Granger, from the Harry Potter films, which is also one of my favorite characters, so maybe I'm a little biased. To be honest, I think it's fitting that Emma Watson will be playing Belle, not just because she’s one of my favorite actresses, but she also played another character that loved to read just as much as Belle does.

As for the Beast, I think that this Beast is very handsome. Hear me out. Just because the Beast is usually terrifying or scary looking, it doesn’t mean he should be not good looking. The Beast has always been my favorite Disney prince. Sure, to some people, like I mentioned before, think he should be horrible looking. What people don’t understand is that people should get to know someone before you judge them. I think Dan Stevens nailed his part for the Beast. I only had seen one movie with him in it, which was Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb. When I saw him as the Beast in the trailer, I can say, as a "Beauty and The Beast" fan, he is perfect for the part.

There are some villains that you love to hate. When I saw Gaston, I was like, “Oh, no. Gaston. Go away.” And it was this same reaction I had when I saw that Luke Evans was going to play Gaston. I had never seen him in other works, but he’s so Gaston. I also would like to talk about Josh Gad as LeFou. When I heard that he was going to be LeFou, I thought he would be perfect for the part because he was a sidekick in another Disney movie. Since Gad was Olaf from Frozen, I as well thought it would make sense if he played a sidekick in another movie as well. After I saw Evans and Gad together, they made a perfect duo to play Gaston and LeFou.

For the rest of the "Beauty and the Beast" characters, Lumiere, Cogsworth, Mrs. Potts, and Chip, from the concept arts of them for the live action adaption, I thought they were horrid. But again hear me out. Yes, I was judging my favorite Disney movie, but hearing their voices made me change my mind about their looks. Seeing them in the trailer in action made me change my mind as well. I didn’t know Ewan McGregor (aka Lumiere) until I found out that he was young Obi-Wan Kenobi from the prequel trilogy of Star Wars. After hearing his voice as Lumiere, I was like, “That’s Lumiere alright.” Since I know Ian McKellen as Gandalf from The Hobbit trilogy and The Lord of the Rings trilogy, I thought he would be perfect as Cogsworth. Like Watson, Emma Thompson (aka Mrs. Potts) was Professor Sybill Trelawney in the Harry Potter movies. She was also Nanny McPhee from Nanny McPhee, and she was Queen Elinor from Disney Pixar film, Brave and P. L. Travers from Saving Mr. Banks. I just knew she would be excellent as Mrs. Potts.

If I were to review this trailer, I would give it 11 out of 10 because it was translating from the animated version to live action version like a dream come true, and the casting was just perfect for each of the "Beauty and the Beast" characters. I can’t wait to see it in theaters, which is March 17th 2017. Who knows? I might review this movie when it comes out, but I would end up loving it anyway.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.
