By now we all know that Beauty and the Beast was re-made into a movie with all human actors. And if you don’t well, where have you been? Since the moment we found out that inner child in all of us was so happy. Now we could all fill the theaters and sing along to some of our favorite songs all the while slightly annoying the person next to us..oops. But what’s better than getting a new adaptation of a Disney movie?! Getting a new soundtrack of all our favorite Beauty and the Beast songs featuring some of our favorite artists.

Now I absolutely love the originals, don’t get me wrong, but the new ones are a close third. Why third? Because my current obsession is mitú’s rendition of “Tale As Old As Time.” For all of you who are questioning what mitú exactly is, it is an online news source that focuses on expressing the Latino POV. Along with the help of the Mariachi Garibaldi de Jaime Cuéllar and the Ballet Folklorico Co., mitú gave us another adaptation of the song that makes me question why there was never a mariachi version of the song to begin with. Not only were the mariachi group wonderful, but mitú’s simplicity of it all helped the instrumentals be the main focus.

Personally, I was thrilled to see my Mexican culture be incorporated into a Disney song. More so, I am thrilled to see all the positive buzz that it’s getting! For all of those who haven’t watched it, here it is, enjoy!

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
