Are you an adrenaline seeker? Love going on new adventures? Want to break up the mundanity of the semester? Georgia Tech offers a plethora of student-organized groups geared towards the adventurers and thrill-seekers at heart. Here are a few spotlighted organizations to get involved in next semester!

ORGT

Outdoor Recreation Georgia Tech or “ORGT” is a student and faculty-led organization that provides outdoor adventures, training, and classes for Tech students. Whether you want to take up exploring through caves ("caving"), white water rafting, or hone in your wilderness survival skills, ORGT has the adventure for you! Most of the gear and classes to prepare you for adventure is significantly discounted for students, so before you get bogged down by the semester, look into exploring a new adventure! Sign up by selecting a class or trip on their page today! Or you can find their cozy office in the basement of the CRC.

Georgia Tech Sport Parachute Club

If you want to take your adventures to the next level and are ready for the ultimate adrenaline-pumping experience, join the Georgia Tech Sport Parachute Club! Whether you’ve done a tandem skydive before or not, GT SPC can help guide you to train towards becoming a certified skydiver! Once you pass the skydiving certification course known as AFF – Accelerated Free Fall, you will be able to train with other Tech skydivers and fly in 2-way, 3-way, and 4-way skydive formations. Many years, SPC team members even compete at the National Collegiate Skydiving Championship every winter! Ready to "fall" for skydiving? Georgia Tech Climbing Team

Love scaling 60ft walls or climbing a boulder puzzle? Seen rock climbing before and wanted to give it a try? Then the GT Climbing Club is for you! With instruction for all levels and training to get you belay and lead certified, the Climbing Club will turn you into an expert climber in no time! The Climbing Club also offers climbing competitions, instructed climbing sessions, and discounts at many indoor climbing gyms around Atlanta.
