My first year as a college student was one full of ups, downs, and in-betweens. I made friends that I then lost over issues never faced before because of never having lived with other people who weren't my family. I met incredible people who I will forever be grateful for having met and feel blessed to have gotten to know in the time I was at Ferris State. However, my path changed and I will be off on a new journey very soon this coming fall.

My changing journey was an interesting decision that I hadn't foreseen until it was almost the end of my first year at Ferris. When I made my decision to go to Ferris for my original undergraduate plans, it seemed to be the perfect fit. The other half of my relationship was there, the psychology program was great, it's close to home and I could live on campus and experience college life like the average college freshman who goes away to college.
