Whatever the case, there's still hope. Cooking doesn't have to be a challenge. Here a five easy tips for beginner chefs. You'll be hosting dinner parties before you know it!
Rinse rice before cooking
Rice is an easy staple food to make, and the possibilities when it comes to seasonings and pairings are endless. But no matter what you do with it: always remember to rinse your rice at least once before cooking to remove excess starch and debris.
Invest in a quality chef's knife

Add salt to your pasta water

Dry meat before searing it
Nothing beats the taste of a perfectly seared salmon filet or steak. In order to get the right amount of sear, pat your meat with a clean paper towel before putting it in the pan to absorb excess moisture.
