Like everyone else, I spend my summer break from school binge-watching shows on Netflix.

Like every Mexican, I am constantly craving tacos.

What do you do when you combine both? You get Netflix's new documentary "Taco Chronicles" that will satisfy all of your taste buds and also have you craving tacos from a corner in Mexico more than anything.

The episodes range from asada to guisado in its only six episodes. Not only that, but they also take you to different parts of Mexico to learn more about their origin and every episode includes crash courses of how these tacos came to be.

The best thing about the whole show is the narrator's voice. It's not a typical voice perspective that you would hear in any traditional documentary. It is speaking from the point of view of the taco, which just makes you feel that much more connected to it.

A popular taco and episode amongst many is the asada episode that takes you on a trip from Tijuana to Hermosillo to Sonora to Downtown LA. Not only does it talk about the meat, but also the most essential part of every taco, the tortilla.

The series also brings a lot of nostalgia for people like me.

Highlighting tacos you find on a street corner reminds me hitting up taco stands at 2 a.m. with my cousins or friends after a long night out at the town, stuffing our faces with five tacos and a cold soda in a glass bottle. Or the tacos de canasta that you find on a basket attached to the back of a bike that makes a quick breakfast snack as you are walking around Mexico City on a beautiful morning.

There is no doubt that after watching this documentary, you will be left with a desire to make a trip to eat these tacos.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
