Hi everyone!

I want to talk a little bit about my latest food adventure to Taco Bell in McKinleyville, CA.
I had heard they came out with a vegetarian menu, but also, being vegan, you could easily eat there as well.
The main purpose of my video and article is to talk about how I as a new vegan, longtime vegetarian, went to Taco Bell in search of vegan-friendly food.
My experience overall was very good, everyone there was very friendly, and if that had not been the case, I would have gotten a different impression. The cashier who took my order was new, so when I asked him about their vegetarian menu, he didn't know too much about it. That was fine because I already knew what I wanted to order. I was just testing him.
He read my order back to me, and I confirmed. But a few moments later, I overheard the person making my food confirm with the cashier that I did want cheese when in fact, I did not. Rookie mistake, everyone does it, I stepped up and politely corrected the person making my food.
Needless to say, I got what I ordered, which was a crunchwrap, without cheese or sour cream, in prime vegan condition.
I appreciate what Taco Bell is doing, reaching out to vegetarians and making the food available to vegans as well.
By having this experience I learned of a new yummy, filling food item to grab on the go, so I'm happy that I did so.
One thing that I would like to add is that although what Taco Bell is doing is 'pretty alright,' (as I state in my video) I think it is also very important that the employees are knowledgeable (statewide) on what vegan means and what the difference is between it and vegetarianism.
Thanks for reading! Till next time.
