For just about every college student, money seems to always be such an issue. Making plans with friends is always so difficult because everything on Long Island seems to be extremely expensive. This goes for other people as well; going out to have a good time and finding a place to eat is seemingly difficult. There is a solution for the broke, hungry, and drunk people out there. Two words -- Taco Bell.
Yes, I myself am guilty to scrumming to the quality of tacos that rates lower than dog food, but I would be lying if I said Taco Bell didn't taste amazing. On a night where you and your friends are out partying until late, the glowing Taco Bell sign that says, "open till 4 a.m." could seem like the gates of heaven. The best part is, you could order over five things and a drink, and still walk away spending under $10.
In 2014, Taco Bell started serving breakfast burritos and sandwiches from 7 a.m. -11 a.m. One of their most famous breakfasts is the AM crunch wrap, which includes bacon, egg, cheese, a hash brown and smothered in jalapeño sauce. I can't say I've tried their breakfast, but I have heard mixed reviews, and been told it fixes hangovers.
Another amazing part to Taco Bell is their happy hour, which takes place from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. During happy hour they serve $1 loaded grillers, and $1 frozen beverages. This is the perfect lunch for any college student, or anyone trying not to spend a lot of money.
Has anyone ever tired the quesarito? That is probably one of my favorite things to order. What a genius idea it was to wrap a burrito in a quesadilla! If you're into spicy, I would recommend the volcano quesarito. They could defiantly give Chipotle a run for their money with this one!
If you live in Chicago, Taco Bell Cantina now serves alcohol at their restaurants. Those baja blast freezes just got a lot more interesting (and yummy). They can be mixed with rum, vodka or tequila. The restaurant is said to have even hired bouncers to discourage any late night drunken antics. There is said to be another Taco Bell Cantina to open at the end of this month. Must be 21 and older to order.
Taco Bell also has an app (available on the apple store or google play store) that allows you to order food, choose the location you wish to pick it up from, and an option to pay through the app as well. This is perfect for anyone in a rush who doesn't have time to wait in the long drive-thru or store lines (since Taco Bell always seems to be busy no matter what time of the day it is).
As if their app wasn't enough, Taco Bell announced earlier this year that they might start delivering. This would basically be perfect for those college kids who are up late at night studying for a test or writing their last minute paper, or for the average person at home who is too tired after work to drive to get dinner.
