With new semesters come syllabus week, the seemingly pointless, yet truly most important week of school. During syllabus week, you meet your new professors, scope out how many of your friends are in your classes, see how much time and energy this course is going to take from you, and all that other "good" stuff. Here's what syllabus week feels like, according to Grey's:
It's your first day back.
Getting back into your old routine of waking up anytime before 11 a.m. kinda sucks. There's no real reason behind it, it just...does.
Just your luck that in your second class, you discover that one stupid kid you had in your history class last semester, and you're just like:
Your professor starts handing out his/her syllabus and you see that your first assignment is due in three days, and you're just like:
Of course, you overhear that overachiever in the background saying they're so excited to work on this project. You smile like:
Day two feels a little weirder than the first one. It's like your mind is already adjusted, but your body isn't.
Then you're really confused because all your friends are trying to catch you up about their juicy break gossip.
By the end of day two, you're just done.
It's all downhill after this point.
And now I just realized how horrible day two is going to be and how I'm going to be stuck in this dark abyss, so I'm done writing about it.
Totally kidding, with good friends and some positivity, I promise you can get through the end of the week.
And maybe some food, like maybe a lot of food.
Because without food, the chances of me being there are slim to none.
You can do it though! Syllabus week will be over with before you know it, then you can focus on rocking out the rest of this semester!
