Syllabus week is by far the most stressful, busy, sleepless time of the school year for college students. It's the overwhelming idea of starting a bunch of new classes, buying hundreds of dollars worth of books, and trying to fit in the time to do normal things like sleep and eat. Getting through syllabus week is honestly a huge accomplishment, but it's not an easy one to achieve.
1. The day before syllabus week begins, when you have some sense of confidence about the semester ahead.
2. Complaining to your family or friends in high school about your workload as if they have any idea what you're going through.
3. Spending hours avoiding your actual schoolwork to do meaningless tasks, and hating yourself for it after.
4. Making a point to fit in a good breakdown at least once during the week, just to like, stay sane, right?
5. When you finally get to the point where all hope is lost and anything would be better than reading, writing, or studying.
6. When Friday finally hits, you've made it through the week, and you can relax.
7. Waking up on Sunday morning and realizing how much work you still have to do, because it's only the second week and there's like, 13 more left.
