The Swing community is extremely friendly, and since so many travel to attend lots of swing events, they're mostly set up and taught the same. When I came home for the summer, my local swing community was ready to welcome me with open arms.
Dancing with someone builds strong friendships
GiphySwing Dancing is a very social dance, not only are partners connected physically, but people also like to use the opportunity to talk and get to know you during the dance. I've made some really great friends from lessons and going to group dances.
