On July 19th, Cincinnati locals Ben, Matt, and John played their first headlining show in Atlanta, GA. The band Public has played Atlanta before, but only as an opening act. In June, Public opened up for one of the hometown shows Twenty One Pilots put on at Nationwide Arena.

As someone who saw Public open for Twenty One Pilots, I was beyond excited to see them play in Atlanta. This trio puts on such an amazing show with so much energy. With the Sweet Lemonade tour being their first headlining tour, they're making sure to put their name out there. This tour is strictly social media driven or word of mouth. Public is making sure to get their name out there so people remember them.

Public opened their show with one of the catchiest songs ever, "I <3 U". This band's vibes are very pop-y and heavy drums and bass with the perfect amount of synth. Their energy increased throughout the show and got even better when they performed "Toxic" by Britney Spears.

Shooting this show was incredible because it was their first headlining show and I was able to shoot from backstage. Everyone should definitely keep Public on their radar because I'm positive they're going to become big one day. The boys of Public are sweeter than Lemonade.

Epic Creation Myths: Norse Origins Unveiled

What happened in the beginning, and how the heavens were set in motion.

The Norse Creation Myth

Now, I have the everlasting joy of explaining the Norse creation myth. To be honest, it can be a bit kooky, so talking about it is always fun. The entire cosmos is included in this creation myth, not just the earth but the sun and the moon as well. This will be a short retelling, a summary of the creation myth, somewhat like I did with Hermod's ride to Hel.

If you're like me and LOVE some good throwback music, here's a list of songs from every genre that have gotten lost in time, but never truly forgotten.

beer on the beach

Summer is hot and humid, and it's almost like summer was made specifically to drink the refreshing, cold, crisp wonderful, delicious, nutritious nectar of the gods. Which is none other than beer; wonderful cold beer. With summer playing peek-a-boo around the corner while we finish up this semester, it's time to discuss the only important part of summer.
