Here's an ice breaker: I'm allergic to chocolate and tree nuts. Anytime someone asks me if i want some brownies or something along those lines, I have to break the news to them. Their reaction is always one of the following: "I'm so sorry," or "You're missing out on so much," or my favorite, "What do you eat?" But to be frank, I'm not sorry, I'm not missing out on anything, and there is so many other things my sweet tooth goes off on! Here's a few things that my sweet tooth often craves.

1. Fruit!

Watermelon, strawberries, grapes, cantaloupe, oranges, bananas, need I say more?

2. Sour Patch Kids

This is my all time FAVORITE candy! It's the perfect combination of sweet and sour!

3. Gummy Worms

Whether you like them sweet or sour, they've got you covered! Also, I recently found out that they make gummy worms in pouches, so that you can dip the sweet worms into the sour sugar! Sounds like a win-win to me.

4. Taffy

If you've never had fresh, homemade taffy, you are missing out!

5. Sno Cones

My personal favorites are Piña Colada and Bahama Mama. These are a must-have in the summer!

6. Starbursts

I'm the crazy person who likes the yellows, and that's okay.

7. Frosted Sugar Cookies

Whether it is the Lofthouse cookies from the grocery store, or the ones from Great American Cookies, these are AMAZING!

8. Wafers

Sweet and crunchy, the strawberry wafers are to die for!

9. Pineapple Pizza

Sorry, not sorry! This is a must have at my group's pool parties.

10. Frozen Yogurt

Way better than ice cream! I mean, have you been to a frozen yogurt bar?

11. Cheesecake

Definitely my guilty pleasure.

12. Doughnuts

There is so much you can do with a doughnut. There's glazed, powdered, creme filled, etc..

13. Lemonade

Anyone that knows me, knows that my first stop anywhere is to find the lemonade! Football games, concerts, gas stations, etc..

14. Cinnamon Rolls

When my mom made these for breakfast, I would lick the icing off the knife, when she was done. And I had no shame for it either.

Before you say that you're sorry to someone that can't eat something you love, remember there are PLENTY of options out there, that are probably better!

To My Loving Boyfriend,

  • Thank you for all that you do for me
  • Thank you for working through disagreements with me
  • Thank you for always supporting me
  • I appreciate you more than words can express
  • You have helped me grow and become a better person
  • I can't wait to see where life takes us next
  • I promise to cherish every moment with you
  • Thank you for being my best friend and confidante
  • I love you and everything you do

To start off, here's something I don't say nearly enough: thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You do so much for me that I can't even put into words how much I appreciate everything you do - and have done - for me over the course of our relationship so far. While every couple has their fair share of tiffs and disagreements, thank you for getting through all of them with me and making us a better couple at the other end. With any argument, we don't just throw in the towel and say we're done, but we work towards a solution that puts us in a greater place each day. Thank you for always working with me and never giving up on us.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.

Tamatoa created a liar filled with shiny things simply for the purpose of tricking fish to enter and become his food. He too experiences a lesson in how easy it is to be tricked by shiny things when Moana distracts him by covering herself in glowing algae so Maui can grab his hook.
