The weather is cool,

and the leaves are colorful.

Even though minds are filled with thoughts of school,

the dropping temperatures are wonderful.

Shorts are a thing of the past,

for now pants get their time to shine.

But in the land of the ever-changing forecast,

one might be freezing at seven and smelting by nine.

But it's not the pants that are great,

rather something much better.

The fall enthusiast no longer has to wait

because now it is the weather for the sweater.

Sweater weather is nice,

and it makes so many people smile.
