The flavor is too rich for my palette
Overwhelming my tastebuds
Spreading goosebumps across my skin
Forcing my hairs to stand on end
A whirlwind of emotions flaring from within
Tears swell into my eyes
Happiness flooding from my insides
My lips begin to quiver and part
Mouth watering as I begin to dive
Back into another savored bite
My hands begin to tingle before going numb
Knees weak and shaking, it takes time
To regain balance on my feet
Spinning, reeling
Dizzy from the taste
My breath hitches in my throat
Stealing the air away
From my lungs
This is when I realize
I am not worthy to have such tastes
Fall upon my tongue
