Survivor: Heroes vs Healers vs Hustlers Cast Assessment Part 4

Jessica Johnston Age: 29 Occupation: Nurse Practitioner Kicking things off for the Healers tribe, Jessica looks to be one of the most physical girls on the season. She is not only a nurse, but she also trains in the gym all of the time. She also seems like she has a really good attitude about things. Usually, it is a bad thing when Survivors don't seem like they really want to win the game, but Jessica is just different. Maybe someone who isn't trying the hardest and is just playing the game to have fun is the correct formula to win? She does seem like she has a very good personality and will be able to make connections with everyone. She did say though that she sometimes has a hard time keeping her mouth shut which could get her into some trouble. but if she can play the sweet girl role, people will forgive her. People may view her as a physical threat, but by the time the merge hits she might be weak and not really be a huge challenge threat. Either way, Jessica has a ton of upside going into this season. Prediction: Merge

Roark Luskin Age: 27 Occupation: Social Worker All I have to say is Oh Boy. Roark is an interesting individual. She is a social worker yet she says that almost everything peeves her. She also has had a picture taken of her every day of her life. If that doesn't sound conceited than what is? Her video was drastically different from her bio. She seemed very grounded and very down to earth when speaking of how she makes differences in people's lives through her work. However, she did say that she is embraces being bossy and correcting people. As we all know, this is never a good idea on Survivor. She does seem a little out there as well. Roark is such a big question mark to me because it really depends on who shows up? Social Worker Roark, the girl that can really connect with people on all levels, or Bossy Roark who will definately rub people the wrong way. Sadly, it will be the latter. In fact, Roark might have a very good chance of being the first one out. Prediction: Pre-Merge

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
