The spring slump is real.

I saw a tweet earlier that senioritis has nothing on the spring semester of college. Is that not the truth! All motivation seems gone after spring break, but your grades are begging you not to give up. So how does one survive the never-ending spring slump, from never knowing what to wear, never wanting to go to class, and only thinking about summer it seems impossible to survive.

Well, here is a list of helpful tips to help you survive.

1. Don't Start a New Netflix Show

I just did, ("Gilmore Girl" fans?!) and now I hate myself because I frequently worry about if Lorelai and Luke will end up together, more than I think about my pressing Calculus homework.

2. Create a Countdown

Knowing I only have to use the community bathrooms for 35 more days is the best thing I've ever heard.

3. To-Do Lists

Hold yourself accountable!!!

4. Extra Coffee

Need I say more???

5. Plan something fun to do after finals

@Vance Joy Concert, I'm coming for ya! I wanna get all this work done so I can enjoy that!!!

6. Enjoy time with your sweet school friends

Being separated for three months is going to be so sad! Roadtrip?

7. Look up summer jobs!

Luke's Diner, anyone??? Better get prepared to make bands this summer!

8. Remember your GPA needs you

I'm the last person that cares about school, but I also don't want to fail.

9. Envision hanging out with your dogs!!

You can't hang out with them if you have to retake a class in the summer.

10. Plan out your next fall semester

You can't get there unless you pass your spring semester!

11. Think about your summer wardrobe!!!

This is just a personal preference but you could treat yo self to a shopping spree.

So these might not be the most efficient things to make sure you are actually doing homework, but they are all pretty motivating! So keep grindin'! You got it, you are in the homestretch and I believe in you! Summer, here ya come!

Friendship. It's defined as the state of being attached to another person by feelings of affection or personal regard, but what really is friendship? Is it that occasional hallway talk with that one person who always manages to cheer you up? Is it that relationship you have with someone where they can be gone for a long period of time, but when they come back, it's like they never left? Is it spending every waking hour with someone, and knowing every detail about their life? Is it the relationship that's filled with fighting, but filled with even more resolution? I've learned that it's all of these things, and every friendship is different. It's a beautifully dysfunctional mess that should always be cherished and never be taken for granted.
