Dear Freshman Roomie,
Both of us heard about the terrible roommate stories from our older siblings. We never knew what could happen, especially watching a lot of our friends switch their roommates right in front of us. Even though our room was tiny with no space, there is no one else I would have wanted to share that small room with.
Thank you for being my first friend here. Coming into college not knowing anyone was scary, but I'm glad we had each other every step of the way. Who would of thought the BGSU Facebook page would lead us to each other.
Thank you for having life talks with me every week. If it wasn't for our life talks, I don't know if I would have made it through the week sometimes. Thank you for listening to me go on for hours about life, boys, school, and just random stuff that was going on that week. Even if you were not in the room some nights, we still managed to talk 24/7 on any and all social media. You give the best advice and helped me realize things that I would not have if it wasn't for you.
Thank you for being my biggest supporter. You were my number one fan every day and always encouraged me to do better. You never gave up on me.
Thank you for waiting for me. I know there were so many times we said we were going to get lunch at 12:30 but 12:30 turned into 1:30. When we said we were leaving for the mall in 15 minutes but that turned into 45 minutes later. I know it can get annoying for always having to wait but you never complained about it and never left with out me.
Thank you for being you. Nobody else knows me how you do. You accepted all my freshmen year mistakes and were there every step of the way.
Thank you for being my best friend. They say in college you meet the people you will be friends with the rest of your life and I know without a doubt we will be friends for life. The endless memories we have already just after one year is amazing and I can't wait to see how many more we will make.
Thank you for the memories and for being my person, Syd.
Much love,
Your Freshman Year Roomie
