The Super Bowl. The two words associated with the greatest teams in football. Even if you are not a football fan, you know of, or watch, the Super Bowl. So who will win it this year? The Patriots? Or will it be a repeat by the Seahawks?
It will be Tom Brady, age 37, vs. Russell Wilson, age 26. Brady is a three-time Super Bowl Champion, two-time Super Bowl MVP. Wilson was Super Bowl Champion just one year ago and Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year in 2012. Who will win this physical match up of two of the best teams in the NFL? Both have an equal chance to win. No home field advantage, no weather advantage, no previous matchups this season.
The Super Bowl will be held at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Ariz. This stadium opened up in 2006 and is home to the NFL team, the Arizona Cardinals. The stadium has a capacity of 63,400. The singer of the National Anthem will be Idina Menzel. She was featured in the movie, Rent, and is on the hit TV show, Glee.
The Pepsi Super Bowl halftime show is the most-watched musical event of the year. Last year, the NFL reported that more than 115 million viewers in the United States watched the halftime show. The performer, this year, is Katy Perry, who promised to have special guests appear with her. We all love surprises!  Â
You can catch the game on NBC on Sunday, Feb. 1 at 6:30 p.m. (EST) You should most definitely watch, because what else would you do this day? It is the Super Bowl, after all.
