Best Game Special Super Bowl Bets

The Super Bowl is the biggest betting day of the year and it is rolling up on us this Sunday. The best part about the Super Bowl is that is allows for everyone to have fun betting on the game as it doesn't just have team and player bets. The Super Bowl is notorious for having fun game special bets for the non football fans to enjoy. We are going to be taking a look at some of those game special bets, such as the coin toss and gatorade bath color, to figure out the best bets.

Coin Flip: Everyone says that tails never fails and that trend is true when dealing with the coin toss for the Super Bowl. The coin toss has landed on Tails 29 times while only landing on Heads 27 times. Law of averages tells us that heads should be the winner for this Super Bowl to get that number closer to a 50% split. Bet: Heads +100

Over/Under of National Anthem: The National Anthem is always a beautiful moment before kickoff, it's also a great start to betting on the game with the over/under of the time it takes to sing. On average, Super Bowl National Anthems have gone for 1 minute and 56 seconds, and this years over/under is set at 2 minutes and 2 seconds. Chris Stapleton is set to sing the anthem this year but has no prior national anthem history to base how long he will go for. Stapleton in general is known for singing slow and letting his vocals shine. Bet: Over -130

Over/Under Number of Halftime Show Songs: The halftime show for many is considered the main event for the Super Bowl. This year Rhianna is making her long awaited comeback and has many people excited to see her perform. The Over/Under is set for 9.5 songs performed for this years halftime show. Rhianna has TONS of hits and is teasing a new album. I expect a good mix of both with her allotted 15 minutes to perform. Bet: Over -115

Gatorade Bath Color: The Gatorade bath is a tradition unlike any other and is a key game bet to keep viewers interested until the very end. Gatorade has many different color options which makes this selection a tough one. Orange has been the most popular color over the years, while blue has been used the last 2 Super Bowls. The last time the Chiefs won the Super Bowl (2020) their Gatorade bath was orange. The Eagles last won in 2018 and had a yellow Gatorade bath. Bet: Yellow +350

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
