In two weeks it's the biggest game in football history: The Super Bowl. A lot of history has been made in this game especially when it comes down to the clutch catches, field goals and not to mention the best teams in the league. You heard it here first: this is a year that will make history.

First off the Super Bowl game that was ever played was in 1967. Any guess on who played in the first game? I'll give you a hint they were both in this year's playoffs. The two teams were the Green Bay Packers, who were defeated pretty bad against the Falcons and the Kansas City Chiefs who were eliminated by the Steelers in a close one. This game would be the first of many in the now called NFL, because back then it was a championship game between the American Football League (AFL) and the National Football League (NFL).

This year's Super Bowl is between neither of these teams. The two organizations playing for the Lombardi Trophy this year are the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons. Both are very good teams and are ready for the battle to be named champions. The last time the Falcons were in the Super Bowl was back in 1999 in SB XXXIII. The Patriots last appearance was not too long ago as it was in 2015 when they beat the Seahawks.

This year's Super Bowl will be a great one. The Patriots who are one of the tougher teams in the league and the Falcons who are a young and rising powerhouse to play. The Patriots are a team that has had a lot of scrutiny as due to the deflate-gate, spy gate, and other problems. However, they are back to prove that they are able to win a Super Bowl without doing anything. As for the Falcons, this team with seven players from their defense having at most two seasons under their belt want to prove that they can win with inexperience.

Both teams are looking good as they both have very good quarterbacks and great players on both defense and offense. it's going to be a great game to watch as these two teams face each other on the gridiron. This quarterback matchup will be one for the ages. A quarterback who was drafted with the 199th pick and a quarterback who is searching for his first ring and giving his franchise their first ring as well.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
