If you're like me, you absolutely can't wait for the "Gilmore Girls" revival next month. I feel like I have been waiting for it to come out for years. As a celebration (and something to read while you wait for the revival to come out), here is where I think each Gilmore Girls character would attend college if they went to a SUNY school!

1. SUNY Potsdam: Lane Kim

Who doesn't love the musically talented Lane Kim? Lane would fit right in with all the students at the Crane School of Music.

2. SUNY Canton: Luke Danes

A classic jack-of-all-trades handyman with a rugged charm. Luke Danes would fit right in at SUNY Canton.

3. SUNY Albany: Lorelai Gilmore

Fast moving and motivated-- Lorelai and SUNY Albany have this in common. Lorelai would find herself right at home at SUNY Albany (as long as they never ran out of coffee!).

4. University at Buffalo: Rory Gilmore

University at Buffalo lays claim to some of the best and brightest in the SUNY system. Full of future doctors and lawyers, Rory Gilmore would love the journalism scene surrounding the city of Buffalo!

5. SUNY Cortland: Paris Geller

Fiercely competitive and driven describe both SUNY Cortland students and Paris. She would keep right up with the cut-throat competition of SUNY Cortland

6. SUNY Fredonia: Jess Mariano

Both SUNY Fredonia and Jess are a little bit devilish, but deep down have hearts of gold. Jess would love the Fred Fest shenanigans.

7. SUNY Delhi: Sookie St. James

Sookie would love SUNY Delhi's outstanding Culinary Arts program! She would feel right at home showing off her cooking skills!

8. Fashion Institute of Technology: Michel Gerard

Fashion forward Michel would absolutely love FIT. Michel would love living in the city and would spend his days off keeping an eye out for Celine Dion.

9. Buff State: Miss Patty

Everyone loves the often eccentric, fun-loving Miss Patty. She's had a rich life with an interesting history. She would love the Buffalo city scene that Buff State brings!

10. SUNY Geneseo: Richard and Emily Gilmore

The Gilmores would fit right in at this small, prestigious university. They would find themselves to be at the top of this highly selective school.

11. SUNY Plattsburgh: Kirk Gleason

The ever eccentric Kirk would fit right in at this Adirondack SUNY school. He would never run out of off jobs with this school's close proximity to Lake Placid and Quebec.

12. SUNY ESF: Dean Forester

The rugged Dean Forester would fit right in at this Environmental School. I can see him really getting his hands dirty with the students here!

13. SUNY Oneonta: Logan Huntzberger

Logan would have no problem getting in to this highly selective SUNY school. There is no doubt of the fun times he would have out with the SUNY Oneonta students.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.

From sea to shining sea, the United States was uniquely positioned for an incredible Aurora Borealis display on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024, going into Friday, Oct. 11.

It was the second time this year after an historic geomagnetic storm in May 2024. Those Northern Lights were visible in Europe and North America, just like this latest rendition.
