12 Times Chandler Bing Described Your 20 Year Old Life, Perfectly

Yes people, hope has been restored; a "Friends" reunion is set to take place on February 21st. I don’t know about you, but personally, no show has ever leveled up to this one. It is, and always will be, my go-to show. Throughout the watching and watching and re-watching of this brilliant show, I always find myself relating, appreciating and laughing along with one specific character; he is, in my opinion, one of the greatest characters in television history. This being said, it breaks my heart to know that the gang of six won’t be all together for this reunion. Could I BE anymore disappointed? In honor of Mr. Bing’s absence, here are 12 times he described the clueless life of every 20-something.

1. When he describes your current love life.

Aren't we all just hopeless and awkward and desperate for love?

2. When he describes the measures sometimes taken that show just how desperate you are for love.

Twitter DM's, Facebook messages and Tinder matches are the closest thing you have to a relationship.

3. When he describes your American Studies class.

And every other pointless class you had to take.

4. When he describes how you feel everyday Monday-Friday.

Because wine is the only thing to cure a person after having class from 9 AM- 7 PM.

5. When he describes your diet.

Wasting food is like a sin.

6. When he describes your gym schedule that goes along with your diet.

Being a member of the gym is gym enough.

7. When he describes the lie you tell yourself to justify the diet and gym schedule.

It's the way God intended, right?

8. When he describes how awkward it is when you go out and try to talk to guys.

No wonder you don't have a boyfriend. At least you provide humor to the group, I guess?

9. When he describes how you react to attractive boys who talk to you, in general.

One word: sarcasm.

10. When he describes your mindset the morning after.

11. When he describes your reaction to your friends' problems.

Sarcasm helps at least lighten the mood.

12. When he describes what you constantly think of every single day.

That's what sarcastic jokes are there for. Without sarcasm, your life would just be uncomfortable, messy, and dysfunctional, just like Chandler Bing.

8 Things I Realized After My First Semester In College

Actually, Kylie Jenner, 2018 is the year of realizing things.

The first semester of college is famous for being one of the most difficult transitions of one's young adult life. You're thrown into a completely new area where the majority of the people surrounding you are strangers in an academic environment that's much more challenging then what you've grown accustomed to for the past twelve years. On top of that, you probably share a room with another person (or even multiple people) on the lumpiest "mattress" you've ever slept on.

With this change comes a lot of questions: what do I want to major in? What am I passionate about? Is what I'm passionate about something I'm actually good at? Why does the bathroom smell like cranberry juice and vodka? What is that thing at the bottom of the shower drain?

6 Unrealistic Expectations Society Has For Young Adults

Don't let the thesaurus-inspired vocabularies in our résumés fool you. We're actually just big kids.

Well over four feet tall and 100 pounds in weight, many of us "young adults" of the world still consider ourselves children. Big, working, college-attending, beer-drinking children. We may live on our own, know how to cook noodles, and occasionally use a planner, but don't be fooled; the youthful tendencies that reside within us still make their way into our daily lives. From choosing to stay up until 3:00 a.m. playing video games on a school night to going out in 30 degree weather without a coat, we still make decisions that our parents and grandparents would shake their heads at in disappointment. So why are we expected to know exactly how to be a wise, professional, sensible adult? It's not that we're irresponsible (for the most part, anyway). It's that we are young, inexperienced, and still have the sought-after, enthusiastic mentality that we can do and be whatever we want, which has not yet been tarnished by the reality of the world. These are just a few of the unrealistic expectations that society has for young adults.
