Upon her trunk she sat
Waiting for a greyhound
She heard the idle chat
But she knew where she was bound
With a hiss, the bus settled into place
She stood with anxiety in her heart
Away from home without a trace
She was going to play a new part
The sun rose behind the bus
She rode to the West
And she could see through the dust
She would be blessed
Her days would be full of sun
In the city of angels
She wouldn’t be just anyone
She’d be living in the castles
Her dreams were in the stars
Acting is her gem
About to go far
She was going to be one of them
