1. Make time for family

Hanging out with your friends all day and night during summer may seem like the ideal way to spend summer but there is nothing better than making new memories with your family.

2. Give yourself some space

It is okay to not want to do anything one day and give yourself a day to chill and have alone time.

3. Perfect Your craft

If your a college student like me summer is the perfect time to gain more experience in the career path that you have chosen, weather it is internships, special projects or working at a hospital

4.Planning is key.

If your like me (a person on the lazy end of the spectrum) if i don't plan anything fun to do in advance i wont do anything and will miss out on so many cool things i could've done this summer.

5. Go to as many concerts as you can

There is nothing better than going to listen to your favorite band with your best friends in summer. Nothing.

6. Having multiple jobs can be a good thing and a bad thing

While having a steady income during the summer might seem great, the stress of having more than one job and the long hours Aren't.

7. Do something you have never done before.

8. READ!!

9.Watch as many movies as you can.

Lets face it when school starts up again, the time that you spent watching netfix and going to the movies will be cut short, so make a list and watch as many movies or tv series as you can.

10. Work out at least twice a week.

11. Have Fun!

Make summer as stressed free and careless as you can!

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

Find excitement in your life and start exploring wherever you are right here, right now.

Great Value Colleges

If you go to or went to Kent State, then more than likely you have done or will do some of these things.

1. You’ve slipped and fallen on the ice at least once.

The winters at Kent are brutal, and while the heated sidewalks and some great snow boots are always a help, there’s no chance you won’t bust it on the ice at least once in your four plus years at school.
