As summer begins to come to an end I find myself reflecting a lot more. Reflecting on the memories we have made this summer and over the past several summers, our bonds that have grown and strengthened, and our many adventures that have yielded so many inside jokes. In just a few short weeks we will part ways and return to school again but that doesn't mean that our memories will fade.
Between the spontaneous girls' nights, random food dates, countless sleepovers, and everything in between, you have made this summer the best one yet and I cannot thank you enough for it.
Having a strong group of girlfriends is so important, whether it is just to be able to text each other in your group message, or make plans with on the weekends, we all have our core group. The group who has changed very little over time but stood strong to the friendship and the secrets shared.
My tribe of girls has become sisters to me, they have been there through my good and bad and they still love and support me, as I do for them. Without these girls, I don't know where I'd be or who I would be with, but I do know that I would be searching for friends like them. Friends whose families have become your own who you can count on to be there for you, friends whose homes have become yours and being able to come to see them whenever you need, and friends who really get you and accept you for all of your quirky qualities. It goes without saying that everyone has this group, and if you have not yet found yours then I urge you to do so because it is something that could last forever and it is also something that is worth finding.
No matter how far we may be apart or how long it may be until we see each other again, just know that our friendship will not waver. The bonds that we have created and worked so hard to maintain are on a foundation of trust, respect, and love.
To my girls, thank you. It is so simple but there is so much meaning behind it. Thank you for all the laughs, all the help, all the encouragement, and all the love. I treasure you all and would be lost without you.
