With that, as one travels across the Texas state, you'll come across historical towns, buildings, and Spanish missionaries. It does not matter what city or town you decide to stay in each town and city has its unique history and it is worth getting to know their history. Because Texas it sits on the Gulf of Mexico there is literally miles and miles of beaches that you can visit. From South Padre Island to Galveston and Surfside. Texas beaches provide its guests with theme parks, carnivals, stores, restaurants, surfing, hiking, and historical sites such as Galveston being a major 20th-century city port.
