Feeling drab about you summer flip-flops? Sandals starting to become worn down and boring? Say no more, because we all understand and experience these fashion blues! At the beginning of summer, we are so eager for the first day that is warm enough to wear some open-toed trendy shoes. Now, we are becoming tired of those shoes and looking for new shoes that will help transition from hot summer days to warmer fall days. What says successful change better than a new pair of hot shoes? If I were to purchase some new warm weather shoes, these would already be being shipped to my address.
1. Snakeskin, snakeskin, and more SNAKESKIN
I am absolutely in love with snakeskin print everything. Dresses, tops, pants, but especially shoes! Among many designers, Steve Madden makes so many gorgeous shoes in all different styles featuring snakeskin. This print is a great way to show some foot but still transition to warmer fall tones. Insider tip alert: From now until August 5th, Nordstrom is having a major sale with SO many snakeskin shoes just waiting for you to purchase. Check it out ASAP!
2. Hints of camo
Writing this gives me a little internal pain with a side of happiness. The endlessly dreaded camo print is somehow back in style. And we like it? That's right, we do! Strategically placed camo is back and cuter than ever. This print paired with cute cut off shorts and a flowy top is great for summer and can easily transition into fall by wearing jeans and a light colored cream cardigan! We love this trend!
3. Simple black platforms
These shoes are a must-have in every closet. They can be dressed in a casual or fancy way. They are super comfy and so sleek. They're great with a summer dress or a fall business suit outfit. They're so versatile and great for changes in weather.
4. Shoes with a pop of braided wicker material
I am obsessed with this material and own many shoes in different styles featuring this ultra luxurious fabric. The tan goes great with your summer wardrobe and can be featured in early September with a boho look, making these shoes versatile and a need.
5. Tory Burch Miller sandal
Okay, I know how painstakingly basic this shoe is. Before you stop reading this article, hear me out. These sandals go with everything. And when I say everything, I truly mean it. I wear these with everything from athleisure to pants to a fancier dress. If I were to reinvest in the shoes, I would stick to a brown or black shade because you will maximize wear. They make an outfit look like you tried a little harder than you did and transform you from morning-after to stylish. Although they will put you back $200, go for it. You need them. Carpe Diem, my fellow shopper.
6. Sneakers? Tennis shoes? Whatever floats your boat.
All of the sudden, sneakers became fashionable and acceptable to wear with pantsuits and other trendy attire, and guess what? We love it! What's more stylish than a comfortable "on the go" girl-boss? Practical and stylish–sign us up! My favorite brands are Nike and Adidas. Don't just think these shoes have to stick to professional clothing–athleisure is comfier than your pajamas and it pairs perfectly with sneaks. We need.
7. Bootie for your booty
Bold enough to add a little bootie for you summer/fall wardrobe transition? We support it. Creams are great and look good on everyone. Snatch these bad boys up at the Nordstrom sale as well.
