I'm a big country fan when it comes to music, and I personally think there is nothing better then driving with the windows down with country music blaring from the speakers. You can't go wrong with artists like Thomas Rhett, Rascal Flatts or Carrie Underwood, but there are some hidden gems out there that have yet to be discovered by you that I promise you'll fall in love with.
1. Unforgettable by Thomas Rhett.
I've been a long time lover of this song and envision it as a part of my love story. Thomas Rhett is one of my favorite country artists, so I had to include this one by him.
2. God Love Her By Toby Keith.
This song is held near and dear to my heart. My boyfriend always sings it to me when we're in the car, and says it reminds him of us, so I listen to it frequently.
3. All-American Girl By Carrie Underwood.
Again, I grew up with this song and I live the dream Carrie expresses in this song.
4. Drunk Me By Mitchell Tenpenny.
I don't really have a rhyme or reason to this one, I just love the sound of it and I find myself constantly singing along to it in the car.
5. When It Rains It Pours By Luke Combs.
Similar to the last song mentioned, I love the sound of this one. I also find it kind of humorous as well.
6. Singles You Up By Jordan Davis.
I love this song! It's easy to sing along to, and it sounds awesome driving with the windows down.
7. Life Is A Highway By Rascal Flatts.
Are you doing summer right if you aren't jamming to this one on the backroads?
8. Speakers, Bleachers And Preachers By Brandon Lay.
I heard this one at some point during my spring semester and I've just grown to love it - from the sound to the lyrics.
9. House Party By Sam Hunt.
I grew up loving this song in high school and it is still on my playlist today! Sam Hunt was one of the first country artists I discovered on my own too.
10. Leave The Night On By Sam Hunt.
This is probably my favorite song from Sam Hunt. It sounds amazing, and the lyrics are fun to sing - it's a great song!
Plain and simple, with the addition of some awesome country songs, you're Friday night jam sessions will be just that much better. Everyone has their own favorite music, but when it comes to driving, I always turn to country. Hopefully this helps you find some additions to your summer playlist!
