Summer is right around the corner, and if you are anything like me, you can't wait to be stress-free, carefree, and school free for the next couple of months. As the days until summer slowly slide by, I can't help but think of all the exciting adventurous there are, and how I can't wait to conquer the Ultimate Summer Bucket List!

1. Road Trip

Go on a road trip with your friends- pack the map but leave the plans at home & see where you end up!

2. Skydive

Jumping out a plane with a random person attached to your back- what could be better, right? The views would definitely be worth it!

3. Concerts

Screaming your favorite songs at the top of your lungs with thousands of others obsessed fans is the way to go!

4. Music Festivals

Spending all day in the sun listening to a collection of your favorite songs and singers is hard to beat.

5. Day Trips

Hop in the car for a quick trip to one of your local favorites- whether it be kayaking or touring a new city.

6. Hike a mountain

The views are incredible so trust me- its worth the soreness your legs will have the next day.

7. Deep sea fish

Even if you don't like to fish, try it because reeling in a huge snapper is surprisingly an awesome feeling.

8. Cloud watching

Grab a snow cone and a blanket, head to a grassy spot, and look at the clouds. You may be reading this like "what in the world" but I promise it's the cure for any and all stress.

9. Visit state parks

Often we overlook the state parks we live close to, but they can actually be beautiful and fun, so grab a kayak, a fishing pole, of a picnic and head out.

10. Wake up for the sunrise

I know its early, but make coffee and go to a spot where you can watch the sun rise- you won't regret it!

11. Commit to a Devotional

It can be so hard to stick to a normal routine in the summer so we often fall out of the habit of doing our quiet time but IDEA- find a good devo and have quiet time in a serene setting.

12. Experiment with new recipes

See a recipe on Pinterest that looks delish? Try it out!

13. Volunteer

As much as Summer is about cramming in fun, it is also about helping others. So whether it be a church VBS or at your local hospital- get out and serve!

14. Take up a new sport

Never played tennis before? Take the summer to learn. Want to improve your running time? Run at least a few times a week to do just that and also stay in shape.

15. Cliff Jump

Even if someone has to push you off into the water- DO IT! It will get your adrenalin pumping, and you'll have done it 20 more times before you know it.

Check these off your bucket list for an unforgettable, adventurous summer!

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

Find excitement in your life and start exploring wherever you are right here, right now.

mu bucket list

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

There are moments where we count down the hours until work is over and how many more days till the weekend, and this many weeks until something exciting. Or something like that? Well, I was bumming because my next day off from work is not until Memorial Day weekend, which is not until the end of May. And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…
