Your Summer Vacation As Told By 'Friends'
Business Insider

The sun is shining, the stress of schoolwork has been lifted off your shoulders, and you're already making plans for road trips with your friends. It's finally summer break, and your favorite weirdos at Central Perk understand your excitement completely. Here's to Summer 2017, told by "Friends."

1. That post-exam feeling.

You're doing Chandler's dance in your head (or maybe, not in your head), the moment you hand in that final.

2. Reuniting with your hometown pals.

Everyone's finally finished with school, and you guys can start making your summer plans.

3. Deciding you want to work toward your "summer body."

If you're worried about not enjoying it, just take notes from your favorite weirdo, Phoebe. (This rule applies in many situations).

4. Accepting that you have the same workout motivation as Chandler Bing.

One pushup is better than no pushups, right?

5. Learning you really don't enjoy kale.

Pizza is being ordered later though, right?

6. Realizing your existing body is already a "summer body."

Sure, it's awesome to work out and eat healthily! But you can rock that new Victoria's Secret bikini no matter what.

7. When your summer fling doesn't work out.

It's okay. It all worked out for Chandler, and it will for you, too.

8. When you realize you don't have as much time as you thought because you have to work every single day.

Being an adult is fun.

9. Attempting to fix your paleness before you go on vacation.

Please take notes from Ross' tanning fiasco.

10. Finishing your summer having a great time at the beach.

Make sure you bring your sand shovels and beach toys.

11. That moment when you realize you only have two weeks until school starts again.

How is it August? Wasn't it May a week ago? Is it Summer 2018 yet?

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
