1. Finally! School's out, and you worked your ass off!

Next step: It's time to make this the best summer ever.

2. No better way to kick the summer off by heading to local neighborhood house party.

This calls for a shopping spree to find the perfect outfit for the night!

3. Your BFF calls you up to ask what you'll be wearing tonight because she's out of ideas. Here's where your fashion advice comes to the rescue.

4. You both are about to enjoy a fun filled night...

5. Until of course, her ex enters in with another girl.

What a mood killer! You have to let her know that she's too good for him and could easily find someone ten times better.

6. And at that moment, that's when you spot a cutie from across the room.

Gotta take the chance to talk to him while you can!

7. You dance, have a few drinks, and he tells you he'll call you sometime.

YAAAS girl! The start to a summer fling.

8. As you wait to make plans to go out again, your summer consists of trying to learn to cook, but failing miserably...

9. Going on road trips with your friends, but letting the wrong person behind the wheel, which results in getting lost a few times along the way...

10. Seeing the people you never liked in school, outside of school, but having that mutual dislike with your friends and laughing over how ridiculous they are...

11. Eating out in your hometown as much as possible because you don't ever want to have to re-live eating dining hall food...

12. Shoo-ing off a couple of weird guys that happen to randomly slide into your DMs...

13. And don't forget getting into a few arguments with mom and dad over the littlest things.

14. But you still haven't heard from the guy from the party.

What gives?

15. You ask a few of your girlfriends to investigate about your crush.

They have some bad news for you... he's been a player this whole time! He has a girlfriend he never told you about! Your heart is broken, yet again.

16. You also can't help but overthink the situation.

"Did my hair get too flat? Did I stumble into some bad lighting?"

17. At the end of the day, you know you always have your friends to go to, who have your back through thick and thin, and you don't know what you'd do without them.

18. Just say "whatever" to all the people who take you for granted in their lives.

Who needs them anyways?

19. Remember that you are chic, independent, and have a bright future.

Or should I say, you have the rest of the summer ahead of you.

20. Maybe, just maybe, you'll find that the boy next door was the one you've been waiting patiently for all along.

“I had an overwhelming sense of ickiness.” When you get this feeling, you'll know he's the one!

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

As an English Major in college, I have a lot of writing and especially creative writing pieces that I work on throughout the semester and sometimes, I'll find it hard to get the motivation to type a few pages and the thought process that goes behind it. These are eleven thoughts that I have as a writer while writing my stories.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
