Summer As Told By 'High School Musical 2'

Like most things in life, the guidelines for a perfect summer have been provided by a "High School Musical" movie. "HMS2" lays out the perfect summer agenda, from the last day of school to the last day of summer. Here are a few of the key items to having a complete "HSM"-quality summer.

First off, you must begin the summer properly by counting down the minutes in your last class, or final before the bell rings. Then, obviously, you throw all your papers in the air and start the music for your first summer singing moment.

Make sure to mark your territory and claim any and all love interests before letting them leave for the summer. Necklaces with your initials come highly recommend. #TisforTroy

Now that school can be checked off the list, it's time for that perfect summer job. Country clubs come highly recommended with their vast variety of job openings perfect for all your friends.

If you have fears about working with all your friends, don't worry. No matter what you can always work it out with a quick kitchen dance number.

Once you've got the hang of the working thing, make sure to throw in some fun outings. Like picnics.

And baseball games. You may even make new friends and discover hidden dancing talents.

It's very important that during all these fun times and hard work you don't forget who you really are though. If you need a moment, it's okay to take a walk and sort things out.

Whatever happens, just keep swimming.

Summer is a great time to hang out with your friends, and maybe even make some new ones.

Whatever happens this summer, the good, the bad and the ugly, always remember what's most important. Keep those friends close that matter and if you mess up, don't be too proud to ask for forgiveness. When summer comes to an end, they're the ones you will want on that stage singing with you. After all, we're all in this together.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
