No summer is complete without an amazing summer playlist to liven up the days on the beach. I have compiled the top 25 songs on my personal summer playlist. Some are brand new and some are a little older, but I hope you all like country music.

1. We Goin' Out - Chase Rice

Chase Rice kills it with this party song. Perfect for those nights out on the town.

2. American Kids - Kenny Chesney

What can I say? We are all kids at heart and, on top of that, Go America.

3. Single For The Summer - Sam Hunt

Sam Hunt is probably one of my favorites out there, so what's better for the summer than a song about being single for the greatest time of the year.

4. Barefoot Blue Jean Night - Jake Owen

Ok, so this one's a few years old. It's still a classic summer song, though.

5. Drink In My Hand - Eric Church

Eric Church is the essence of modern country music. He sums up what we are all thinking in this song.

6. I Love This Life - Locash

How can you not love life when you listen to this song?

7. You Can't Stop Me (Feat. Thomas Rhett) - Brett Eldridge

Brett and Thomas should do a lot more together after this song.

8. Cruise - Florida Georgia Line

Again, it's another older one. It's a classic summer song, though. While you're at it check out Kane Brown's new take on it here.

9. Hell Raisin' Heat Of The Summer - Florida Georgia Line

Another for FGL. These guys know how to make a summer song.

10. Beachin' - Jake Owen

This makes me just want to chill on a beach all day.

11. If You Want Some - Joel Crouse

This guy's a little lesser known but he kills it with this single.

12. Do It Like This - Johnny T

Another lesser known artist, this song is perfect for those summer nights.

13. Little Bit Of Everything - Keith Urban

I agree Keith, I want a little bit of everything as well.

14. Keg In The Closet - Kenny Chesney

Older Kenny with the shoutout to Lambda Chi Alpha, of which we are both brothers.

15. Suntan City - Luke Bryan

I know it's more of a spring break song, but it still works for the days on the beach.

16. I Feel Good - Thomas Rhett

This song just makes everyone feel good.

17. Playing With The Boys - Kenny Loggins

Cue the shirtless beach volleyball. This is, in my opinion, the best song from the classic Top Gun.

18. Small Town Throwdown - Brantley Gilbert

Nothing like a great summer throwdown with your bros.

19. Chillin' It - Cole Swindell

This is one of those songs that is perfect for the summer day with your girl by your side.

20. High Life (Feat. Chase Rice) - Colt Ford

Chase Rice and Colt Ford get together for a great summer jam.

21. Bonfire - Craig Morgan

Where I'm from, a good summer night with friends is sitting around a bonfire. Cue the Craig Morgan please.

22. Nothin' But Summer - Dallas Smith

I don't understand why Dallas Smith hasn't taken off yet. I love his stuff.

23. Girl Of The Summer - Kip Moore

After a nice wait, Kip finally released his new album. As you can tell from this song, he came back strong.

24. Tippin' Point - Dallas Smith

This is the first Dallas Smith song I ever heard and it led to me getting all of his tunes.

25. Summer Jam (Feat. FGL) - Jake Owen

Jake Owen and Florida Geogia Line are probably the two best artists for summer jams. Why not put them together for a song literally called summer jam.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Sister | Brother Style - Word Press

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
