New series and seasons premiers coming to a screen near you from June 2016 - August 2016! These are series you will definitely want to set your DVR's for. Summer must-see episodes of returning and new series, that you will love from the very beginning.

The Summer started off pretty awesome, if you missed all the airings of June 1st - 18th look no farther than this article. I have the most talked about premiers of Summer 2016, right here!

Beginning on Wednesday June 1st with premiers at 8 and 10 p.m. on NBC and Sundance.

8:00 p.m. - American Ninja Warrior - NBC

Returning for its Eighth Season, Matt Isman host, along with former NFL player Akbar Gbajabiamila and co-host Kristine Leahy. Competitors tackle a series of challenging obstacle courses in both city qualifying and city finals rounds around the country. Then move on to the national finals in Las Vegas, where they face a stunning four-stage course modeled after the famed Mt. Midoriyanna course in Japan. Winner's grand prize is One million dollars.

10:00 p.m. - Cleverman - Sundance

This drama is set near into the future and rooted in Aboriginal mythology. The series depicts a deeply conflicted and anxious societ, fearful of a minority group living among them, endowed with extradorinary physical traits.

At 9 p.m. on Thursday June 2nd, Beauty and the Beast aired on CW.

9:00 p.m. - Beauty and the Beast- CW

The final season of this series, season 4, with a 13 episode run, final started at the beginning of June. A few months ago, there were speculations about a new villain who might pester the newlyweds, catch up and find out.

Friday, June 3rd, had three premiers one at 7:30 and two at 9:00 that night.

7:30 p.m. - Girl Meets World - Disney Channel

" High school is the most confusing, awful, terrible and ultimately- if you do it right- wonderful springboard into college and the rest of your life," Michael Jacobs tells The Wrap.

The two-part season 3 premier, Girl Meets High School, will have you in-between tears and laughter, the entire episode.

9:00 p.m. -OUTCAST - Cinemax

Cinemax’s horror show Outcast had its world premiere at SXSW, and the premium cabler dropped two pieces of news at the panel afterward. The 10-episode series produced by The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman and Chris Black debuted June 3, and it’s already been renewed for a second season. This comes eight months after the first trailer was unveiled at Comic-Con.


9:00 p.m. - Marriage Boot Camp

WETV Marriage Boot Camp (also known as Marriage Boot Camp: Bridezillas and Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars) is an Americanreality television series which debuted on May 31, 2013, on WE tv.

Monday, June 6, had two premiers at 8, 9 and 10 o'clock that was full of drama.

8:00 and 9:00 p.m. - Rizzoli & Isles - TNT

2- hour premier- wedding bells and a shooting kicked off the seventh and final season! Rizzoli & Isles follows Boston detective Jane Rizzoli (Angie Harmon) and medical examiner Maura Isles (Sasha Alexander), complete opposites and good friends who solve crimes and bust some of Boston's most notorious criminals

10:00 p.m. - UnReal - Lifetime

Backstabbing, lies and a lot of juicy drama make up the new season of this Lifetime show. (Season 2)

A new season of The Last Ship started on Sunday, June 12th! Catch it on Sundays at 9 on TNT!

9:00 p.m. - The Last Ship - TNT

Season 3- 13 episode run. The Navy-set action adventure, based on William Brinkley’s novel of the same name, revolves around a global catastrophe that nearly wipes out the world’s population, though the destroyer USS Nathan James avoids the tragedy, forcing its captain (Dane) and the ship’s crew to confront the new reality that they are among the world’s few survivors


Monday, June 13th brought viewers two new series and a new season of a crime drama.


9:00 p.m. - Guilt - Freeform

Guilt is an upcoming American drama television series created by Kathryn Price and Nichole Millard about an American student in London whose roommate is murdered. People suspecting her, they begin to start accusing her. If you love Pretty Little Liars, check this out! I finally got to watch the pilot episode and I think I might end up loving this new hit series!

10:00 p.m. - BRAINDEAD - CBS


A young, fresh-faced Hill staffer gets her first job in Washington, D.C. to discover two things: The government has stopped working, and alien spawn have come to earth and eaten the brains of a growing number of Congressmen and Hill staffers. New series from the creators of the Good Wife. Also, if you loved the TV series, Monk, you might just see your favorite guy on this new series. Lastly, the actress above might look familiar because she also starred in the series, The Good Witch.


10:00 p.m. - Major Crimes - TNT

Season 5- 15 episodes, “Major Crimes” is a crime drama TV series that premiered on August 13, 2012, on TNT. Being the spin-off from “The Closer,” the TV series follows the work of the Major Crimes Division of an LAPD, headed by Captain Sharon Raydor. James Duff is the show’s creator and executive producer.


Tuesday, June 14th, debuted a new series as well at 9 p.m.

9:00 p.m. - ANIMAL KINGDOM - TNT

Two-hour series premier, an upcoming American drama television series developed by Johnathon Lisco. It is inspired by the 2010 Australian film by David Michod who is executive producer for the series, alongside Liz Watts who also produced the movie. It follows a 17-year-old boy, who, after the death of his mother, moves in with the Codys, a criminal family clan governed by matriarch Smurf.



Thursday, June 16th, traveled back to the 1960's for an epic drama.

9:00 p.m. - Aquarius - NBC

Season tw starts off with two new episodes.

Golden Globe-winner David Duchovny stars in this dramatic event series set in the 1960s as a police sergeant in Los Angeles. Despite a complicated personal life, this officer embarks on an undercover investigation of a cult leader -- Charles Manson -- who recruits vulnerable young women to join his cause. Duchovny's character and that of his young partner face many twists and turns as they track Manson and his crimes. Executive producers are Duchovny, John McNamara, Marty Adelstein and Melanie Greene.

Friday, June 17th had OITNB fans happy, because the drama was back for a new season.

12:01 a.m. PT - Orange is the New Black - Netflix


Season four starts off with two new episodes. Piper Chapman is a public relations executive with a career and a fiance when her past suddenly catches up to her. In her mid-30s she is sentenced to spend time in a minimum-security women's prison in Connecticut for her association with a drug runner 10 years earlier. This Netflix original series is based on the book of the same title. Forced to trade power suits for prison orange, Chapman makes her way through the corrections system and adjusts to life behind bars, making friends with the many eccentric, unusual and unexpected people she meets.

Now for the upcoming shows, June 20- August 31, brings old favorites and new beginnings.

Monday, June 20, the new season of The Fosters premiers.

8:00 p.m The Fosters - Freeform

Blood doesn't always mean family in this Freeform drama. I didn't watch this show from Season 1 to now, but I did watch some of Season 3 and I loved it. It may be different, but somehow different is much better than being normal. Season 4 is just beginning, let's see what this family can do. I just have to say, did they think no one would notice when they switched the actor from Jake T. Austin to a new guy?


Tuesdays are Pretty Little Liars Day! I am celebrating because it is finally here. Also, crying because this is the beginning of the end of the beloved drama. June 21st is the last summer-season premier date for this juicy mystery show. * New information is said about whether or not this murder mystery is coming to an end.* When asked if this is the last season, I Marlene King, only says "This is the end of PLL as we know it to be." --So liars keep your ears open, this may not be the last season after all, we will see in time, I hope.


7:00 p.m. - Pretty Little Liars - Freeform


Will the new “A” take another life? More secrets are exposed when Season 7 of “Pretty Little Liars” premieres. #SaveHanna is the theme for this season premier. Can the gang save her or will it be too late. Who will be walking down the aisle, steaming things up, and having happy reunions? Find out this Season on the final season! Wednesday, June 22nd, a new dark drama premiers on CBS at 10 p.m.

10:00 p.m. - AMERICAN GOTHIC - CBS


Looking for something spooky to send chills down your spine this summer? Check out CBS’ new dark drama, “American Gothic.” The series is set in Boston and focuses on a “prominent” family that discovers “someone in their midst is linked to an infamous string of murders.”

Thursday, June 23rd is the night that a battle takes place at 8:00 p.m.

8:00 p.m. - Battlebots - ABC

An American competition television series. Competitors design and operate remote-controlled armed and armored machines designed to fight in an arena combat elimination tournament. (Season 7)


Tuesday, June 28, sharing the same night as the hit drama Pretty Little Liars, a new bloody drama will be premiering at 9 p.m. on Freeform. If you love James Patterson's novels, then you need to check out the series based on his best-selling novel, Zoo, premiering its second season at 9:00 p.m. on CBS.


9:00 p.m. - DEAD OF SUMMER - Freeform


Your summer just got a little more … bloody. “Dead of Summer” is new to Freeform and tells the story of an ancient evil that awakens at a Midwestern summer camp in the late 1980s.


9:00 p.m. - Zoo - CBS

Season 2. In this thriller based on James Patterson's best-selling novel of the same name, actor James Wolk portrays Jackson Oz, a renegade American zoologist overseeing safaris in Africa. As he begins to notice animals exhibiting strange behavior, attacks against humans start occurring all over the world. The ferocious assaults accelerate and appear to be cunning -- and coordinated. Jackson races to solve the mystery behind the pandemic and stop it before no place is left for humans to hide. A team of executive producers includes James Patterson.

Finally, on to July premiers on Syfy and many more networks.

Friday, July 1st, Syfy gears up to premier the second season of a war zone type show at 10 p.m.


10:00 p.m. - Dark Matter - Syfy


Season 2. When six crew members working on a derelict spaceship awaken from stasis, they have no memory of who they are or how they got on the vessel. The only clue to their identities is weaponry and a destination -- a remote mining colony soon to become a war zone. They must band together to fight off the threats that they face on a voyage that is filled with vengeance, betrayal and secrets that make survival a question mark for all on board the ship. The sci-fi series is based on the graphic novel of the same name.

Sunday, July 3rd, travel to beautiful islands with the Island Explorers on the Travel Channel.

10:00 p.m. - Island Explorers - Travel


From Hawaii to the Caribbean and beyond, each episode follows the hosts as they discover the best off-the-beaten path spots on one island, from spectacular sights and off-the-hook adventures to secret beaches and enticing places to eat.

Monday, July 11th has your favorite laugh out loud show on at 9 p.m. and should to have you in a good mood.


9:00 p.m. - Whose Line Is It Anyway? - The CW

The Summer Season Premiered on May 23, 2016. Hosted by comedian Aisha Tyler, WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? features cast members Ryan Stiles, Wayne Brady and Colin Mochrie, who helped make the original U.S. version of this comedy improv series such a hit. Along with a special guest comedian in each episode, the cast members must put their comedic skills to the test through a series of spontaneous improv games. Prompted only by random ideas supplied by the studio audience and host Aisha Tyler, our four performers must use the little information they have and their wild imaginations to depict different characters and an array of scenes, as well as perform songs. After each round of improvisation, Aisha will dole out points to our four performers and declare a winner at the end of every episode. I love this show, and here is the time it premiers with more new episodes. Everyone needs to laugh.

Wednesday, July 13, you can watch your favorite Night At The Museum Pharaoh, Rami Malek, stars in the second season of Mr. Robot.


10:00 p.m. - Mr. Robot - USA

Things are going to get a lot more complicated in season 2 of USA’s hit series. The new episodes pick up just 30 days after the attack on Evil Corp.

Sunday, July 17, in its third season, Power is premiering tonight with one of ten new episodes for the season.

9:00 p.m. - Power - Starz


In a move that shifts the show from its regular Saturday evening timeslot, EW has learned that the Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson-produced drama is set to premiere Sunday, July 17, and will include 10 one-hour episodes – although whether that proves long enough for James “Ghost” St. Patrick (Omari Hardwick) to get out of the crime game remains unseen.


Tuesday, July 19, USA is airing an all new series based on the 2007 film "Shooter", this is sure to be a thriller.

10 p.m. - SHOOTER - USA

New series, TV show based on the 2007 film, "Shooter" about an American Marksman trained in counter intelligence and on the run from the U.S. government.Creator: John Hlavin. Stars: Cynthia Addai-Robinson, Yousuf Azami, Jay Charan.

Tuesday, August 2, welcomes viewers back to Paradise with the Season 3 premier of a hit ABC show.

8:00 p.m. - Bachelor in Paradise - ABC

(Season 3) Where do eliminated contestants from “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette” go? “Paradise,” of course! Former broken hearted cast members get a second chance at love on this reality show spinoff. One confirmed cast member from Ben Higgins’ season of “The Bachelor” is the lovable, yet slightly crazy, Lace!

Monday, August 22, Freeform gives Cheer lovers a reason to tune into their network.

10:00 p.m. - Cheer Squad - Freeform

Bust out your pompoms. Freeform announces its new Cheer SquadTV seriespremieres in the US Monday, August 22, 2016, at 10:00pm ET. The reality show follows the world-champion cheerleading team, The Great White Sharks, as they defend their title.
Tuesday, August 23, get ready for the fourth season of The Profit, and lots of money.

10:00 p.m. - The Profit - CNBC

Marcus Lemonis returns for a fourth season. In each episode, Marcus makes an offer that's impossible to refuse; his cash for a piece of the business and a percentage of the profits.


Friday, August 28th, calling all vampire lovers to FX network for the third season of The Strain.

10:00 p.m. - The Strain - FX

(Season 3) What will happen to Eph after the death of Nora? Fans will have to tune in for the new installment of the spooky vampire drama.

Wednesday, August 31st, sometimes its the best of times and others its the worst of times. This FX drama sees the world through two people who have no luck with love and happiness.

10:00 p.m. - You're The Worst - FX

You're the Worst is a modern look at love and happiness told through the eyes of two people who haven't been very successful with either. It's the story of Gretchen and Jimmy, fear, heartbreak, romance, sex, food, Los Angeles, Sunday Funday, friendship, and the fact that sometimes the worst people make the best partners

I hope you enjoy the shows of this Summer. There is always something interesting to watch and love every minute of it.
