Going back to classes is hard. For some of us it hasn't hit that summer is over and it feels like a dream that classes are starting back. For others the excitement is so real to be back on campus but no matter what things are still hard.

1. When you're trying to find your classes.

2. When your professor tells you that you have reading due for next class, and you don't have the textbook.

3. When you get the syllabus and the first test is in three weeks.

4. When you get back and two of your friends are dating that shouldn't be dating.

5. When the internet company doesn't want to set up your internet until after the first day of classes.

6. When someone says hey to you on campus and you don't know how you know them.

7. When you see your textbook bill.

8. When you see your tuition bill.

9. When you get denied that job you needed to pay for those bills.

10. And then you see the grocery bill.

11. When classes start in 2 days and you still don't have everything moved in.

12. When all you do is constantly run into groups of lost freshman.

13. When you have chapter the week classes start back.

14. When you forget to register your bike for a pass.

15. When you have work due on syllabus week.

16. When you get a bad parking spot on campus and have to walk.

17. When you are walking around campus and it's hot outside.

18. When it's not summer anymore.

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
