If You're Dating Someone For Money You Might Want To Use That Cash To Find Some Morals

Was the Gucci bag worth someone else's marriage?

If You're Dating Someone For Money You Might Want To Use That Cash To Find Some Morals

I advocate gender equality to the fullest extent. I would never tell someone what to do with their body. However, when it comes to someone else's family, my opinion is completely different. In college, I have heard a lot of girls talking about going on "seeking arrangements" dates. Some girls were serious and others were joking, but to me, that is no laughing matter.

"Broke college kid" probably rings in your ears. Maybe you are jealous that you have carried the same backpack since ninth grade while other girls carry Louis Vuitton bags. Some days you feel like you deserve so much, you might feel as though things should be handed to you.

Escorting, sugaring, and even getting someone to Venmo you money seems like an easy way to get what you want. A few hours with a gross, rich guy and you can treat yourself, right? Wrong. This is morally corrupt. Most of the men on these websites are MARRIED. By partaking in this, you're messing with someone's marriage. Imagine being the wife of a man on a business trip who is alone. Picture yourself frantic when you find out he has been talking with someone young enough to be his daughter. All that just for a quick buck.

In my humble opinion, if you partake in these behaviors, you are not pro-woman at all. You can argue "my body, my choice," all you want. At the end of the day though, you made the choice to interfere with someone's marriage. You're not "young and crazy" for doing this, you are just desperate and corrupt.

The moral of the story is to have some damn morals. If you want something, work for it. Never accept a handout based on your anatomy. There is nothing glamorous about being the other woman in any situation.

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

There are moments where we count down the hours until work is over and how many more days till the weekend, and this many weeks until something exciting. Or something like that? Well, I was bumming because my next day off from work is not until Memorial Day weekend, which is not until the end of May. And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…

Great Value Colleges

If you go to or went to Kent State, then more than likely you have done or will do some of these things.

1. You’ve slipped and fallen on the ice at least once.
