Suffering < Glory

Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can't heal.

Suffering < Glory

Ever feel like giving up? Like there's so much hurt in you that you have no idea what to do with? Like your life is a melting pot of emotions and it's this close to boiling over?

Oh friend, believe me when I say that I've been right where you are. Many times. I still have internal battles with myself all the time. Some days I wake up and I have no idea how I'm going to do it. But guess what? Every single day, it still gets done.

You've been assigned this mountain to show others it can be moved. You are a walking testimony. Your existence is a miracle in itself. Think about it. You're alive. You're here. You have so much potential, with so, so much to give. Think of yourself as a glow stick. Sometimes you have to break before you shine.

I've had my moments. I've made mistakes. I've had sad experiences. Definitely. But I can confidently say that I regret nothing. Now, I'm not saying that I struggle any less, because I don't. Sometimes I still feel that familiar pain in my chest and hear that voice in my head telling me to give up, but I know that all of the obstacles that we face in life just makes us stronger. Sometimes God will put a Goliath in your life for you to find the David within you.

The devil always tries to pry you away when you are getting closer to the truth. Distractions that make you doubt your own faith. He doesn't want you to seek Christ. He doesn't want you to prosper. If anything, he wants you to sink deeper and deeper, until you hit his level of low. Never give him the satisfaction of seeing you dig your own grave.

Suffering is temporary. God is eternal. Take your pick.

"The pain that you've been feeling, can't compare to the joy that's coming." - Romans 8:18

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

The Importance Of Being A Good Person

An open letter to the good-hearted people.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
