Style Your Dorm With Urban Outfitters

Whether you're a freshman first dipping your toes into the cramped dorm room decorating or you're an upperclassman headed to an off campus (slightly less cramped) abode, Urban Outfitters is a great one-stop-shop for stylish decor. Customize your space with quality, lasting items to really utilize every inch's style-potential. Whether you like bohemian bedspreads, artsy prints, or grungy tapestries, you're sure to find something to make your room really feel like home.

For Your Bed

1. The coziest (and cutest) comforters.

Plum & Bow Katara Medallion Comforter Twin Size- $179

Sleep in style bundled under the softest covers. Urban Outfitters has an array of trendy comforters spanning the entire rainbow. Many feature a central mandala-like pattern. Mandalas symbolize unity and the universe-- adorning your bed with such powerful symbolism would be the perfect reminder of your relation to the world around you. Comforters range in price from $129-$219.

2. Decorative throw pillows.

The Rise And Fall Animal Pillows- $34

Some may deem throw pillows an unnecessary purchase, but if you want your dorm to really feel like home, you need to make it cozy. What's cozier than pillows shaped like your favorite animal? Urban also offers more traditionally shaped pillows (uh, squares) with beading embellishments, embroidery, or even tassels. Pillows range in price from $14.99-$149.

3. A throw blanket -- because you should be comfy when your studying.

Falsa Blanket in Pink- $39

Who wants to get all the way under their covers when they're reading their Econ textbook? Just wrap yourself in a throw that you can keep at the edge of your bed. Urban has the perfect throws -- bohemian patterned with the perfect colors to motivate and inspire during your toughest cram sessions. Or, if the sunshine prevails during your studying hours, grab your blanket and head to the quad to finish your essay while sprawled across the greens on your favorite throw. Prices range from $39-$289.

For Your Desk

1. A Catch-all dish.

Plum & Bow Floral Woodblock Catch-All Disk- $6

Nobody should have to spend their free time organizing their loose jewels in a jewelry box. Instead, stash your most worn rings and necklaces in a decorative catch all dish on your desk. That way, you won't lose anything, but you wont have to spend much time storing and organizing, either.

2. Some life.

Mini Geo Terrarium- $18

Plants literally liven up a room. Stick a low maintenance air plant in this adorable terrarium to brighten up your workspace.

3. Something silly (but necessary and useful).

Otter Tape Dispenser- $20

Homework is stressful-- keep your workspace fun with a Typewriter Memo Pad or a Hand Pen Holder.

For Your Walls

1. Tapestries, tapestries, and more tapestries.

Bree Madden for DENY 5th Street Tapestry- $69

Urban Outfitters has a huge selection of tapestries! If you're into the typical tapestry with a zen pattern on it, UO definitely has it. However, some of the more unique tapestries offer a different take on the tapestry idea. Tapestries are a great (and easy) college dorm room decoration, and the ones at Urban Outfitters, from $39 to $429, are sure to earn you compliments from your friends. Though some are extremely expensive, there are plenty you can find at UO under your budget.

2. A place for your photos.

Henna Medallion Photo Clip Set- $16

Hang your photos in style with the wide array of photo clips that UO sells. They even have sloth clips!

3. Some cool prints to compliment your personal photos.

Valentina Ramos Dreams of India Art Print- $26

Urban carries a wide selection of art prints priced from $15-$99. Peruse their selection to find the perfect art prints to match the polaroids of you and your high school friends.

4. A chalkboard for everyday reminders.

Chalkboard Wall Decal- $24

Sometimes, lugging a huge chalk board into your dorm is excessive. Luckily, Urban Outfitters has a cool Chalkboard Wall Decal that can easily be removed from dorm room walls (so you don't get a hefty fee) at the end of the semester.

For Your Bathroom (If You've Finally Upgraded from the Communal Dorm Bathrooms)

1. A quirky bath mat.

Cloud Bath Mat- $29

Yes -- that cloud is indeed a bath mat. Urban Outfitters is the only place I've ever been able to find an awesome variety of novelty-shaped bath mats. From cat-shaped to cloud-shaped, UO has it all. If quirky shaped bath mats aren't your thing, Urban has patterned bath mats and bath mats with inspirational or cute quotes. Or -- if you're a really adventurous interior decorator -- get a sun shaped bath mat that boasts the words "Rise and Shine" (see it here).

2. A chic shower curtain.

Antique Map Shower Curtain- $29

UO has countless shower curtains that will add more than a splash of color to your bathroom -- while keeping the splashing water inside the tub. Whether you want a photo graphic on your curtain or a psychedelic design, Urban Outfitters has a shower curtain (priced $29-$89) for your taste. Urban Outfitters even sells a $12 liner so you can get your shower decor all in one spot.

Check out even more great accessories at Urban Outfitters. Though some of the products are a little on the pricier side, you will be investing in a quality, unique product that will last you all four years of college and beyond.

If I have learned one thing in my lifetime, it is that friends are a privilege. No one is required to give you their company and yet there is some sort of shared connection that keeps you together. And from that friendship, you may even find yourself lucky enough to have a few more friends, thus forming a group. Here are just a few signs that prove your current friend group is the ultimate friend group.

When it comes to television, there’s very few sets of on-screen siblings that a lot of us can relate to. Only those who have grown up with siblings knows what it feels like to fight, prank, and love a sibling. Ross and Monica Geller were definitely overbearing and overshared some things through the series of "Friends," but they captured perfectly what real siblings feel in real life. Some of their antics were funny, some were a little weird but all of them are completely relatable to brothers and sisters everywhere.

1. The Legacy.

Her sister was a member, her mom was a member, all of her aunts were members, and her grandma was a member. She has been waiting her whole life to wear these letters and cried hysterically on bid day. Although she can act entitled at times, you can bet she is one of the most enthusiastic sisters.

Every kid in college and/or high school dreams of summer the moment they walk through the door on the first day back in September. It becomes harder and harder to focus in classes and while doing assignments as the days get closer. The winter has been lagging, the days are short and dark, and no one is quite themselves due to lack of energy and sunlight. Let's face it: life is ten times better in the summertime.
