Don't worry, literally everyone else is just as stressed as you are! Here are some tips to get you through the end of the semester or quarter.

1. Create a study schedule

Giphy

I know is sounds silly, but organizing when and where you are going to study van help relieve some that finals stress. You can just have one sheet of lined paper. You can go all out with colors, sticky notes, and different colored highlighters. Whatever helps you to not forget anything.

2. Treat yourself and buy some snacks

Giphy

It's so easy for you to get lost in studying, but that doesn't mean you should miss lunch. Keeping yourself healthy during finals doesn't need to be as hard as people make it out to be. So, drink some water and have that snack!

3. Ask for help when you need it

Giphy

Whether you need help from the professor or from a few classmates, just ask for a few minutes. It can't hurt, and you'll feel way better once you start feeling less confused.

4. Don't wait until the last minute

Giphy

Yes, I know, everyone says this. But procrastinating during finals won't work out in your favor. Take your time, put that Netflix binge on hold, and grind that studying out.

5. Remember to take a break

Giphy

Not leaving your room for three days straight won't help you, or your brain. Take a walk, stretch, or take a small nap. Not thinking about anything and a breath of fresh air will help clear your head.

6. Keep going, you're almost there

Giphy

Sure, you just learned the entire Spanish language in two days, but you got this! You've been working hard all semester, and this is the finish line. Go take that test and crush it!

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing!
