Finals week is fastly approaching and with that most of us are feeling nervous, anxious, and exhausted. Summer is so close yet so far away. If only we could fast forward through the next week and a half...

Although everyone handles stress and studying in their own way, here are 7 tips that will help you survive hell finals week.

1. Interval Studying

Don't try and study for 5 hours straight...you'll go insane and statistically, your productivity will be much lower. Instead, when you're studying make sure to break your time up with breaks. For example, after every hour of studying take a 15-minute break.

2. Quizlet

THE lord and savior of studying. I 110% recommend you utilize Quizlet and a study tool when preparing for your finals. There are so many features -- flashcards, quizzes, matching games -- that will help you memorize and learn all the information you need to ace your exams.

3. Study Groups

They're not for everyone, but I highly recommend that after you study on your own for a bit to invite a friend or few to go through notes/information with. Studies have shown that studying with a partner or in a group helps productivity and memorization!

4. Brain Food Snacks

A lot of times when you're so busy studying at Bird, it's easy to forget to eat. It is so important to nourish yourself throughout the day when you're working. Brain food snacks include dark chocolate, nuts, yogurt, avocado, and coffee!

5. Drink Water

Drinking water is THE most important thing you can do for your body. Hydration is key! And let's face it, you don't want to be that person who passes out in the middle of the library.

6. Ask for help

Don't be afraid to reach out if you need it. Go to review sessions, ask your TA questions, or email your professor. At the end of the day, everyone just wants to help each other succeed.

7. SLEEP

This is SO important. You need to let your body rest and refuel by getting a good night's sleep. Trust me, I know how easy it is to pull all-nighters in Bird or Carnegie, but I promise you, you will get so much more done if you let your body rest.

Good luck with all your exams! You all are gonna kill it.

(Study motivation: Less than 2 weeks until SUMMER! You got this.)
