5. Flashcards
Flashcards will never go out of fashion when it comes to studying. It may even be the longest known medthod for studying. In my experience, flashcards help to quiz me after writing out every question and answer on index cards.
4. Writing out information
As hard as it is to believe, writing down information over and over again helps retain information. Or at least it has in my experience. Grab a piece of a paper and a pencil and just write. Whether its in math, science, english, etc. this method is full-proof. Re-write the formuals to find variance and standard deviation until they're burned into your brain. While it may seem old-school or junvenille to use paper and pencil rather than just typing facts out on microsoft word, writing is way helpful!
3. Sleep!!!
While I may be stating the obvious here but there is nothing more important than a good night's sleep before your exam. You all may be rolling your eyes as you read this but if you've ever pulled an all nighter before an exam, you know it's true. Last semester, I stayed up all night studying for my statistics exam and I was so tired I had to re-read every question at least three times causing me to not even finish the exam.
2. Don't wait until the night before
A piece of general knowledge could not be more accurate. It's impossible to retain weeks of information in one night, especially when you'll need a good night's sleep. Start studying an hour a night a week before the exam! Procrastination fails!

Quizlet.com has to be the greatest studying tool of the 21st century. It is all online and it even has an so you can study literally anywhere.
