Finals are fast approaching or have already begun for some of us, which means a lot of studying and writing! Some days are devoted entirely to going over notes, writing flashcards, and outlining final papers, leaving us with little time to do anything else. However, it is still important to eat so our brain gets the energy it needs to help us pass our classes! Here are some easy and delicious snacks you can prepare quickly and eat while you are studying for finals.
Avocado Toast
Simply toast your favorite bread, place some fresh avocado on the top, and sprinkle some salt and pepper on it.
Cheese and Crackers
This snack can be made a variety of ways as you can choose your favorite crackers and type of cheese and top it off with some cucumbers or olivesGreek Yogurt, Peanut Butter & Honey Apple Dip
Simply mix your favorite flavor of greek yogurt with peanut butter and some honey to make a delicious and healthy dip. Then slice an apple to eat with the yummy dip.
Peanut Butter and Banana/Strawberry Rice Cakes
Rice cakes are a perfect light snack, however, topping it with peanut butter and banana and strawberry slices makes it a perfect study snack.
Yogurt Fruit Ice Pops
For this snack, you need an ice pop mold, 2 cups of Greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons of honey, and your favorite fruit, such as blueberries, strawberries, or peaches. Simply blend the fruit and mix it with the honey and yogurt and place it in the mold to freeze for four to six hours. This snack is perfect to make the night before a long day of studying!
Yogurt-Covered Blueberries
The ingredients are only blueberries and the Greek yogurt of your choice. Simply take a toothpick to poke the blueberry and dip it in the yogurt. Place the yogurt-covered blueberries on a plate and let them freeze for a delicious frozen treat.
Sriracha Popcorn
If you're tired of butter popcorn, simply mix one tablespoon of Sriracha hot sauce, one teaspoon of garlic powder, one tablespoon of olive oil and add it to a bag of popcorn. Shake it all together all enjoy!
Turkey and Cheese Bagel
Toast your favorite bagel and make a snack sandwich out of it! Add turkey, cheese slices, and anything else that sounds good at midnight while you're cramming for your 8 A.M. final.
