You may already be feeling anxious about your upcoming finals. It isn't easy to navigate your last few assignments while trying to study for finals at the same time. If you're looking to improve your strategies for finals, here are a few ideas that might help you.

1. Make a calendar

Making a calendar seems obvious, but not many people actually go through with it. Having your assignments written with clear due dates will help you prevent procrastinating. However, if you're still having difficulty, you can rewrite the due dates to make them seem sooner than they are. That way, you can manage to trick yourself into doing things early!

2. Make note cards

Even if you can't use the note cards during the test, the act of writing out what you need to remember can be helpful. Note cards make it easy for you to fit in study time when you'd normally be too busy. You only need a minute or two to get through a couple of cards.

3. Change up your study location

If you normally study in your room, try the library or a study lounge. Changing locations can help you get into the mindset of studying.

4. Go to office hours

Your professors are indeed there to help you. If you go to office hours, your professor can help to make sure you are focusing on the right things. It also helps to show your professor that you're putting in effort -- they do notice!

5. Talk to classmates for study tips

If you noticed which of your classmates are doing well, don't be afraid to ask them how they study. They might be able to share some tips to help you improve your grade.

6. Be confident in yourself

Once testing time comes, follow the advice, "fake it till you make it." There's no use panicking five minutes before the test. Just have faith in yourself and all of the studying that you've done.
