As college students, we tend to walk most of the places we need to be unless we can hop a ride with someone who has a car on campus. The walk to and from class, a friend's house, or just to get food can be a time of reflection or just a time to remember that your coffee is sitting back on your desk in your room. Regardless, we spend these few minutes throughout the day thinking to ourselves about our lives and our surroundings. With the help of a few friends, I've compiled a list of common thoughts that occur in the mind of a college student walking to class. Enjoy!
1. Did I eat and brush my teeth this morning?
2. I hope that this class lets out early today.
3. I also hope I don't fall asleep during class today.
4. *Someone looks at you while walking* Hmm, I know that I know you, but I can't remember your name. Please don't say hello to me.
5. That's right, it's fall now. I should definitely be wearing a coat and pants, not shorts and a long sleeve.
6. Maybe I should stop eating in public while walking.
7. I didn't do anything for class today.
8. I really hope I don't trip and fall.
9. What is the next song on my Spotify playlist?
10. When is the next time I can eat?
11. I should've just slept today. Personal days are a thing, right?
12. I wonder if anyone will notice I wore these pants yesterday.
13. I left my phone charger at home.
14. The person in front of me is walking entirely too slow.
15. Oh my God, there is a dog. I must pet the dog.
16. My eyes are watering from the cold. Maybe I should've gone to school in a warmer place.
17. I'm going to need at least four cups of coffee to make it through this day.
18. One day I'm seriously going to get hit by one of these crazy ignorant student drivers.
19. Why did I choose my major?
20. I'm going to make today a good day.
