Ever felt overwhelmed? Welcome to the life of every college student across the world. Being a student in college no matter what your major is will be stressful on you at some point throughout your whole college life. Between classes, school work, midterms, projects, tests, instructors, other students, attendance, just everything in general, school causes so much stress on us as students; it's hard to believe that we are expected to manage all of this. We thought high school was rough... college is a completely different ball game. Now, i'm not saying anything that we all do not know, but I do want to give some tips on how to over come all this stress put on us as students.
Tips!
* Breathe, a bad grade or a missed assignment is not the end of the world. You can make it up and your grade will get better.
*A hard class is a blessing in disguise! A hard class pushes you to your limit yes, but it also helps you prove to yourself how hard you can work.
*You can do anything you put your mind to! If you want an "A" in your class, study hard, do your work, go to class, apply yourself and get that grade!
*Do not quit! Quitting will only make the hard times harder even though it seems like the best thing at the moment, I promise it is not.
Lastly, YOU CAN DO THIS.
You are here for a reason, you were meant to be here in this exact moment, under all this stress, when you feel like giving up, just push harder and believe in yourself just like everybody else believes in you, you do that too. All of this hard work and stress will be worth it in the end, it does not matter whether it's getting an "A", turning work in on time, making it to class on time, doing well on a test or homework, passing your finals or even the class, and most importantly, getting your degree. IT WILL BE WORTH IT. These three S's will be apart of your everyday life as a student, so you can either let it ruin you or let it push you to work harder and to believe in your self more.
The three S's can either hurt you or help you, it's your job to choose how you let them impact your life daily as a student.
