Things To Do When Stuck In The House
Summer in Ohio

So it is summer time, there is only so much you can do before you go stir crazy. Personally I've spent far too many days in my house to still be somewhat sane. As I've sat in my house, I've come up with different things to do while sitting around and trying not to go crazy.

1. Rearrange your room

While it seems pointless, it can be nice for a change. Seeing your room in a different perspective can make anyone see things differently.

2. Craft things for your friends

When you see them, it will be a nice pleasant surprise, and it will keep you busy for a certain period of time depending on how in depth the craft gets.

3. Try different makeup styles

It can be a different style you've never tried before. We all have those makeups that just sit in our bags, try them out. You may be surprised when you like them.

4. Clean out the closet

You all know about that one closet, no one goes near or opens. Clean it out. What else do you have to do?

5. Try a new Netflix series

I tried a new series, and I cannot get enough of it. I highly recommend getting suggestions from friends and family and seeing what is out there. You know never know it could be soon your favorite.

6. Read a book

It may seem like a drag, but the book is always better than the movie or TV series.

7. Hangout with your pets

My cat is my best friend, if that tells you anything always there to comfort me and be a friend when I need her. They need attention just like humans

8. Do your laundry

We all know about the chair that holds a mixture of dirty and clean clothes, just go ahead and wash ALL of those clothes.

9. Finally, GO OUTSIDE CASPER! You are way too pale!

Hope this helps makes your summer a little less dull.

Cheers!

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
