The University of Rhode Island has a diverse group of students who experience the same struggles on a daily basis. We all know that this school is definitely something else.
1. Butterfield is closed on the weekends
This is basically the school's way of saying: "You're going to starve or walk all the way to Mainfaire." Who is going to want to walk all the way to Mainfare when it snows? Not this hungry gal.
2. The walk to Chaffee
It can be the most beautiful weather and this walk is still dreadful. It is also a million degrees when you walk into this building and you will automatically sweat right when you sit in your seat.
3. Finding an Uber
If you haven't paid a ridiculous amount of money for an uber, do you really go here?
4. Having 3 people living in a 2 person dorm
None of these dorms were designed for three people, yet here we are. The closet space could be a little bigger, we can all agree on that.
5. The laundry machines
You will have to dry your clothes three times for fully dried clothes
6. The toilet paper
This is self-explanatory.
7. The Rhode Island terms
Anyone not from Rhode Island or Massachusetts hears "wicked" everywhere you go. Also, a water fountain is not a "bubbler". Rhode Island says some silly stuff.
We all love to hate URI. However, it is home and I can't imagine going anywhere else.
